Dr.Yaldo preformed my lasik eye surgery in 2021, and it has been the best thing I ever did for my eyes. I have had horrible vision my whole life and worn glasses or contacts since I was 5 years old. I’ve had my LASIK done for a few years now. Still seeing 20/20. The procedure was stressful for me due to my anxiety but the staff during the procedure were very understanding and helpful. The moment I told my old eye doctor I was switching to Dr. Yaldo, I knew I was making the right call! It was like a weight lifted, and honestly, the best decision I ever made for my vision.

After 40 years of contacts, I finally ditched them thanks to Clear Lens Replacement (CLE) surgery. I understand it’s similar to cataract surgery but done before the cataracts even form. LASIK wasn’t an option for me, but CLE is even better! Now, with my “bionic” lenses, I can see near and far without a hitch, and I won’t ever have to worry about developing cataracts. Plus, I’ve found a fantastic new doctor’s office for my yearly checkups!

Now, to be completely honest, my near vision isn’t exactly the same as it used to be. It’s a little blurry up close, but that was starting to happen anyway. I would have needed reading glasses eventually, so this is just a minor adjustment.

Nicole, the technician, was amazing during the post-surgery heat treatments. She was so patient and really listened to my concerns. Those treatments aren’t part of the surgery package because not everyone experiences dryness after CLE. But they were a lifesaver for me!

I wholeheartedly recommend this procedure. It’s truly life-changing!

I had my Lasik surgery almost a month ago, and it has been amazing, no more glasses, and contacts, I can see better than I did with them. The staff at Yaldo eye center are great people, very inviting, they greet you with a smile, always ask how you are, and are very friendly. Dr Yaldo is incredible, he is very thorough, and does great job. Every time I go in there I feel very comfortable, and they all treat you like a person and not just another patient. The office manager Kristina is absolutely amazing, such a friendly and sweet person, she made conversation with me, and made me feel comfortable before surgery, she always has a smile on her face(even through the mask)😉. If you are thinking LASIK, come here first, I have zero regrets about the procedure, and I met some amazing people.

Update: it’s been over 3 years, and still have 20/15 vision, Dr yaldo is amazing, the staff is awesome, I 100% recommend if you are thinking about lasik.

I can’t believe I can finally see clearly after 55 years of struggling with glasses and contacts! My left eye was 17 power, so thick lenses were a constant hassle. LASIK wasn’t an option because my corneas were too thin. Contacts would dry out on my Harley rides, no matter what sunglasses I wore, and I couldn’t even see where the golf ball landed. It was incredibly frustrating. My twin brother, who has almost as bad vision as me, went through the same struggles.

Then we both met Dr. Yaldo, and he gave us hope! He explained that he could get me out of glasses and contacts. I was skeptical, but he said he could put a multifocal lens in my right eye and a corrected lens in my left. He explained that my eyes would learn to compensate for reading. My brother actually got multifocal lenses in both eyes.

Three weeks later, I can see like never before! I can even read my phone clearly. At my three-week checkup, Dr. Yaldo said my eyes were still healing, but he was thrilled with my progress. This is the best money I’ve ever spent. If you’re in a similar situation, I highly recommend scheduling a consultation with Dr. Yaldo. He truly is the real deal!

I always enjoy my follow up appointments at Dr. Yaldo’s after my Lasik surgery 3.5 years ago. It reminds me how much my life has changed. I always needed corrective lenses for my vision ever since I was 8 years old. I could not see anything without my contact or glasses. Now until I had my lasik surgery with Dr. YALDO in 2021. That was like a miracle for me. The procedure was painless and so short. The staff were so reassuring and caring with me dealing with my anxiety about the procedure. It was so simple and quick. However the results were life changing. I still remember opening my eyes first time and seeing the clock and able to read it without my glasses. For someone who has needed corrective lens all my life, I was so amazed. Especially that there was little to no down time. I had a designated driver went home and went to sleep to rest my eyes. Dr. Yaldo and his staff were incredibly kind and professional throughout the entire process. The procedure itself went smoothly in November 2023. I did experience some brief pain, but it was manageable. My eyes felt quite dry during healing, but thankfully, they improved after a few weeks. Dr. Yaldo did mention that I might need to use eye drops occasionally even after the healing was complete, which is fine with me. My vision has been fantastic since then, no more glasses except for fun sunglasses!

The place is clean and they followed the CDC guidelines, wearing mask,, cleaning all equipment after each patient and staying 6 feet apart. Oh, and sanitizer available at the front desk. There was not a long wait once I signed in for my appointment. The doctor was thorough in the exam and spent time to explain things to me. It was not a rush from one patient to the next. All employees I came in contact with was friendly.

I had an appointment at the Farmington Hills office and the moment I walked in I was greeted with a hello and a smile. I taken to an examination room in less than 20 seconds. After the basic information gathering and eye exam, the doctor came and performed a more detailed exam to get a resolution for my issue which was a piece of plywood that was lodged in the back of my eyelid; the doctor removed the object with extremely minimal discomfort. My immediately felt 80% better and in less than 24 hours my eye a vision is normal so YES the Farmington Hill Office a G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time) in my thanks and thanks again.

I had my Lasik surgery 10years ago! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Had to come back as my vision is changing at 64years old. Dr. Yaldo is so attentive to what you need and his staff is great!

Honestly, I spent more time waiting around than I did actually undergoing the procedure. It took only about 20-22 seconds per eye! There was some discomfort from keeping my eyes open, but if you’re used to wearing contacts, it shouldn’t be a big deal.

The healing process takes a few weeks to fully recover, but it’s definitely worth it. I can see 20-20 now, almost 20-15! My astigmatism is gone, and I’m so happy to finally be free from glasses and contacts.
